Uni group uses Dynamics to get full understanding of student lifecycle
TEDI-LONDON
TEDI-London, a new design-led engineering enterprise, founded by Arizona State University, King’s College London and UNSW Sydney, has partnered with leading Cloud and Digital Services Provider, ANS, to gain a holistic view of each student through the full student lifecycle.
TEDI has leveraged Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing and Microsoft’s Higher Education Accelerator to provide a holistic view of each student through the full student lifecycle, from application and enrolment, right through to on-course and post-graduation. This will provide the organisation with insights to optimise student and faculty engagement, improve institutional effectiveness, predict outcomes, and gain insights from analytics.
ANS is also launching a student-facing mobile application, built on the common data service which will enable students to receive status updates on their application as well as information regarding timetabling, assignments and grades. These student interactions will then feed into a Power BI dashboard to provide analytics for completed courses we well as details about student performance, tutor effectiveness, and course feedback.
David Minahan, CIO at TEDI-London commented, “We wanted to start off on the right foot with future-proofed technology solutions that would enable us to streamline the technology stack, reduce overheads and deliver a slick user experience for both our staff and students.
“We were also looking for a partner in which we could build a long-term relationship with that would help us to get the best out of the Microsoft product suite. ANS stood out to us as an organisation at the forefront of the latest Microsoft technologies and innovations and they clearly understood our objectives and shared our vision.”
Joe Wolski, CTO at ANS added, “With increasing competition to attract the highest calibre of students, institutions are having to work harder to attract and retain talent. We’re delighted to be working with TEDI-London to help them engage with prospective applicants, support students throughout their journey and ensure long lasting relationships, and I look forward to seeing the organisation thrive as they prepare to open their doors to students next year.”
