ANS scoops DevOps award
Leading cloud and digital solution provider, ANS, has been named ‘Best DevOps Services Company’ by the UK’s leading business technology publication for IT leaders, computing.co.uk, at the DevOps Excellence Awards 2020.
Computing’s DevOps Excellence Awards showcases outstanding achievement from organisations, personalities and solutions operating within the DevOps space. The award demonstrates that ANS can operate effectively in developer-centric environments while adopting DevOps processes, as well as ensuring customers have continued access to the most qualified consultants and technical resources.
The award follows a number of successful DevOps projects delivered across the public and commercial sector.
ANS has invested heavily in DevOps skills creating a dedicated consulting function of DevOps engineers that can help customers understand where they are today and how they can develop an agile function to grow their DevOps capabilities.
Speaking of the award, CTO Andy Barrow said,
“More and more organisations are realising the value of adopting a DevOps culture, greater innovation and implementing a more agile approach to software projects. This of course is never an easy feat and as organisations move forward with their digital transformation, they need a partner with the experience and expertise to help them grow.
This award demonstrates our ability to lead the way when it comes to delivering DevOps services to our customers. It really is an achievement to be recognised for our expertise in this space.”
Adam Farricker, HideOut CEO said “We were already extremely grateful to ANS for their support as a Founder Patron of HideOut Youth Zone. The addition of this generous donation will directly allow us to support children and families that need it most during the school holiday period. There has been some high‐profile media attention drawn to these issues in recent weeks and we are proud to have the backing of partners like ANS, that share our aspirations on improving the life chances of young Mancunians.”
ANS CEO, Paul Shannon commented, “As long‐time partners of the Onside Youth Zones network, it was only natural that we would extend our support to the HideOut Youth Zone to help local families. The staff at the Youth Zone are doing an incredible job in very difficult times and we’re proud to help in any way we can.”
